When he appeared on Fox News Channel's Angle, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) has condemned a series of anti-Semitic protests in recent years, particularly on university campuses under the Biden administration.
Missouri Republicans pointed to how Columbia University acted to end its practices as the federal government is under the leadership of the Trump administration.
“There's actually a clear pattern here. The actual pattern is to pamper the left-wing pro-Hamas lobreakers hitting a building attacking Jewish students,” he said. “Laura, there was a student in my office the other day. A proud American, a Jewish American. He is actually going to join our army. And what did he have in the sling? Why? Because on his own university campus, he had the tension to set up a table for Israel, so he jumped at a lot of thugs.”
Holy added: “Really, the university is just putting up with it. I mean, it just makes it happen. Yes, they definitely discriminate against Jewish students. And the worst part is that they do it with our money. They're taking our taxes. And you're right, that money comes with lots of strings. It's when we started pulling those strings.”
