A Colorado dentist has been charged with trying to solicit a mother and her 8-year-old daughter to engage in illicit sexual acts, according to federal prosecutors.

According to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Dr. James Jason Asa, 49, is accused of sending sexually enticing messages to his 8-year-old daughter to someone he believed was her mother. Unbeknownst to Dr. Asa, he was sending the messages to an undercover Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agent.

According to court documents, during the investigation that began in October 2023, investigators discovered he had adopted online personas on online messaging apps that centered on “taboo” sex, family incest and child pornography.

On Oct. 3, 2023, an undercover Department of Homeland Security agent allegedly received messages from Asa detailing a sexual fantasy.
