Colorado is currently 8-2 and has a path to the College Football Playoff. If the No. 16 Buffaloes win against Kansas State and No. 12 BYU loses to No. 21 Arizona State, the Buffaloes will lead the Big 12.
If the Big 12 takes the lead, Colorado will be in the automatic bidding range. It's up to the committee to designate the Buffaloes as the No. 4 seed, but they must win the Big 12 title game to secure that spot.
