Colorado mom tackles alleged peeping Tom outside department store dressing room

A Colorado mother claims she saw Tom changing her clothes in a department store fitting room, and she wasn’t about to let the alleged voyeur get away with it.

The incident happened on May 11th in Lakewood, Michelle Chandler. He told local FOX31.. The unnamed mall store reportedly has men’s and women’s changing rooms in the same area. Chandler said he was trying to put on his Mother’s Day costume when he noticed someone’s feet smelled.

“When I went to take off my pants, I bent over and saw his men’s shoes, socks and his cell phone pointing at me,” said the mother of five. the mother told the television station. “I grabbed him and threw him to the ground and put my knee in his back and pinned him down on the head.”

Chandler said store employees helped identify the suspect, a 19-year-old, and subdue him until mall security and police arrived.

A high school senior who was about to graduate was killed when a college student drove drunk at 131 mph.

“This is why men shouldn’t be in women’s fitting rooms,” Chandler told the suspect in a video recorded while he was being restrained. The suspect’s pants were removed and he was seen wearing gym clothes underneath.

“He needs to be held accountable,” Chandler told FOX31 of the suspect. “What he did was not good.”

Lakewood Police confirmed to FOX31 that they responded to the alleged incident. No suspects have been identified, and police did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
