Colts Share Controversial Video Featuring Tyreek Hill
The Indianapolis Colts stirred up some controversy by posting a video on social media that depicted Tyreek Hill, of Miami, as a detained dolphin. This release comes a day after referencing his notable arrest in 2024, prompting backlash.
Last September, as reported by various outlets, Hill was apprehended by police prior to a Miami Dolphins game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Footage showed multiple officers interacting with him while he was lying on the street. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, stated that the incident stemmed from a “driving violation.” Hill was released shortly thereafter, receiving two traffic tickets that were ultimately dismissed. Following the incident, at least one officer faced administrative leave.
When the NFL unveiled its 2025 schedule, several teams opted for lighthearted videos showcasing rival matchups. However, the Colts’ video, styled after the well-known game Minecraft, crossed a line by referencing Hill’s arrest. Although they removed the video shortly after, numerous fans managed to share it across social media platforms.
