Shai Davidai, a Jewish-Israeli professor who has led counter-protesters against anti-Israel demonstrations at Columbia University, was denied access to the main campus, ostensibly for reasons of safety from anti-Israel mobs.
of new york post report:
Israeli-born Shai Davidai, an assistant professor at Columbia Business School and an outspoken supporter of the Jewish state, said that even with the creation of a massive new tent city on the Morningside Heights campus housing about 200 people, Regardless of the circumstances, I was told that my ID had been “deactivated.” All protesters would have been required to use a Colombian ID to gain entry.
He said administrators told him they were prohibited from entering the campus because it was not safe to do so.
University administrators turned a blind eye to new protest camps days after calling on the NYPD to break up previous protests and take protesters away.
As Breitbart News reported, Colombia is clearly a hotbed of pro-terrorism and anti-Semitic rhetoric. Local rabbis told Jewish students to return home for their own safety, and classes were moved online on Monday.
Lawmakers, including Rep. Richie Torres (D-N.Y.), are calling for Columbia University President Minouche Shafiq to resign if he cannot protect students from illegal protesters.
The cancellation of in-person classes at Columbia University is an admission of failure by President Minoush Shafiq, who chose to hand over control of Columbia University to anti-Semitic forces.
If you can’t ensure the safety of your students, you can’t do your job.

The presidents of Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania also resigned for failing to stop anti-Semitism on their campuses.
