Comer threatens to remove Dem Rep. Maxwell Frost from chaotic Oversight hearing after bashing Trump as a ‘grifter’

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Kommer is forcibly removing Rep. Maxwell Frost from Chaos Tuesday's hearing after DEM officials violated a ban on him saying he had committed a crime. Tensions erupted as he threatened.

Frost (D-fla.) used his time to slap President Trump as “Chief Grifter.”

“So if you want to see the waste, fraud, abuse I'm trying to do, why am I trying to do it, there's a complete silence on the other side of the aisle about seeing the full glyfter, the president of the United States. Is there the wealthiest man on earth” Frost Chided between his comments.

“Why not investigate real corruption?”

A small amount of Trump, 78, challenged by Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.) Comer, 52, asking whether he would “correct” his statements to “inappropriately” identify the president. I asked Frost.

Rep. Maxwell Frost was banned from further participation in the House oversight hearing after calling President Trump “Chief in Grifter.”
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Kommer provided DEM officials with the opportunity to revise his remarks.

However, Frost refused to retreat and began attacking “Prime Minister Trump's Grifter.”

“If I want to challenge someone to fight, they'll know that!” Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) stepped in, but the reason for this is not clear.

Comer then asked if he would like to correct his comment about Trump.

“That's what's supposed to be,” Frost admitted. “President Musk, the US President, and President Donald Trump, who works in American grift, often uses public offices to enrich himself.”

After the committee chairperson warned of pending allegations against him, Frost said:

“What I'm going to retract is to call him Grifter as Chief.”

At some point during the turbulent hearing, several lawmakers began screaming at each other.

In dissatisfaction, Comer decided to slash Frost's words from the transcript, banning him from further participation.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) began to try to protect the frost, and lawmakers quickly cried out at each other, eventually restoring order.

With his microphone being cut off, Frost said it was “despicable” that he was banned from further participation.

“Mr. Ranking member, I'm going to have the sergeant exclude the weapon if he doesn't stand in!” Comer told ranking member Gerry Connolly (D-Va.)

The Florida DEM is the youngest member of Congress.

Eventually, Frost was not abandoned from the hearing, but he confronted his actions after the turbulent hearing.

“James Kommer can hide behind the sergeant and try to remove me, arrest me, silence me.” Frost wrote later on x.

“But that's not going to stop me from calling out Donald Trump's Grift and his bull.”
