Comey's Daughter Allegedly Let Go from DOJ

Mohren Comey Fired from Justice Department

Reports indicate that Mohren Comey, daughter of former FBI director James Comey, was dismissed from her position at the Justice Department on Wednesday.

Comey had a notable career spanning nearly a decade at a US law firm, where she led high-profile cases involving individuals like the late Jeffrey Epstein and rapper Shawn “Diddy” Combs. Various sources, including Politico and the New York Times, confirmed that she was let go.

The reasons behind Comey’s alleged termination aren’t entirely clear, but it follows her recent loss in a case related to Combs, where a New York jury found him innocent of the more serious charges, including sex trafficking, on July 2nd.

Previously, Comey was involved in overseeing Epstein’s case as one of the lead prosecutors back in 2019, a case that ended with Epstein’s death in his cell that August.

In news reported by Fox News Digital, Comey has remained quiet amidst ongoing investigations involving her father and former CIA director John Brennan. Sources suggest that the FBI is looking into potential misconduct related to the infamous Steele documents, considering the interactions between both former directors a possible “conspiracy,” which could expand the investigation’s scope.

In a somewhat related incident, James Comey faced significant backlash in May after posting an Instagram photo with the numbers “86 47.” He claimed it represented a “cool shell formation” spotted on the beach, but many Republicans accused him of issuing a veiled threat to former President Donald Trump.

Following this, he deleted the post and reportedly had a conversation with the US Secret Service.

The Department of Justice has not yet responded to inquiries regarding this situation.
