Completely Absurd: Megyn Kelly Criticizes Diddy Verdict and Promises to Challenge Hollywood’s Letting Him Off

On her show Wednesday, Sirius’s Megan Kelly addressed the verdict in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ case, suggesting that if Hollywood seeks to reintegrate him, it will be her “mission” to remind him of his “humiliation.”

After a seven-week trial in New York, a jury found Combs not guilty of conspiracy and two sex trafficking charges. However, he was convicted for engaging in prostitution using two methods of transportation. While discussing the prosecutors’ evidence, Kelly referenced a New York Times piece illustrating Combs’ courtroom demeanor.

“It’s almost like the New York Times has a light touch. The judge mentioned that Combs was reluctant to return to the Brooklyn jail, and he shook his head vigorously while placing his hands together as if in prayer. Those are some uncomfortable moments in court, certainly,” Kelly remarked. “This is ridiculous!”

“Honestly, I think he just got away with something outrageous. He committed some serious acts, definitely abused Cassie and likely Jane, too,” Kelly continued. “The statute of limitations for battery in Los Angeles is one year. If you didn’t report it in that time frame, you can’t come back to it, especially since everything was handled quietly with the security guards involved.”

During the trial, 34 women testified, with Combs’ ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura claiming she was forced to take medication and attend Combs’ “Freak Off” party.

Kelly mentioned another alleged incident involving Clark Capricorn, a former Combs aide, who reportedly faced gun threats when Combs was purportedly trying to harm rapper Kid Kudi.

Kudi claimed that Combs had blown up a Porsche upon discovering Kudi’s relationship with Ventura. Prosecutors didn’t directly link Combs to the incident, though Capricorn allegedly suggested that Combs had requested her to come with him, saying, “We’re going to kill Kudi.”

Kelly expressed her belief that there was no question about Combs’ involvement in the arson, citing “sufficient evidence” from Ventura’s emails.

“A male escort named Daniel Phillip testified that he heard abuse happening, with Cathy screaming, ‘Sorry, sorry,'” Kelly noted. “It’s shocking, really—what’s going on here?”

Legal expert Arthur Adara joined in, playfully suggesting that Kelly was concerned about whether Combs could easily return to Hollywood and how it might upset her.

“I see it as part of my mission to keep this humiliation in the public eye. Many still see him as a respected figure, but that’s an illusion,” Kelly stated. “It’s crucial to recognize the reality of this situation. Cassandra Ventura is a sympathetic witness and wasn’t just trying to stir things up between Combs and Kid Kudi.”

After the verdict, groups were seen pouring baby oil on each other outside the courthouse—a nod to the large quantities of baby oil previously discovered during a raid on Combs’ home in 2024.
