The composer of the “Halo” video game series has announced he will run for the Nevada state legislature as a Republican in a bid to restore “sanity” to Washington, D.C.
Marty O’Donnell, the 68-year-old composer behind many iconic (and often meme-worthy) video game soundtracks, announced: candidate Long-term post for Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District X It was shared by Elon Musk.
“I never wanted to be a politician, and I still don’t,” O’Donnell began. “I have had two successful careers, started several small businesses, and also worked for several large companies. I am ready to retire and spend more time with my family. I’ve been doing that for the past three years. I think they’re ready for me to find something else to do.”
O’Donnell went on to note that modern politics fosters “toxic divisions” that tear families and societies apart, adding, “It’s easy to look at the economy and realize something is terribly wrong.” Ta.
Many of Mr. O’Donnell’s remarks focused on the need to support the family unit and child development moving forward.
“The sad reality is that many of our nation’s children are suffering. Years of ridiculing and degrading old-fashioned ‘family values’ have taken a toll. .The strength of our society, which is fundamentally tied to the vitality of the family structure, has been eroded.We are defending the essentiality of the traditional family to the development and success of children.”
In addition to pointing to the rising cost of living and stagnant wages, O’Donnell also pointed to the issue of big government and border security.
“Who have we allowed to have the most influence over our government? Big business owners and big union bosses. Big tech companies, big pharma, big media, big companies. “Everything is trying to control big government in Washington, D.C. This has to stop.”
“One of the things that the federal government should certainly be responsible for is border security. “We’re seeing people coming into the country without any consideration for what they’re going to get, and they’re being given access to all sorts of handouts at our expense,” O’Donnell added.
Musk shared O’Donnell’s original post about X, and the announcement has been viewed more than 15 million times as of this writing.

Currently a member of the Diet. Susie Lee Mr. (D) has held the same Nevada congressional district since 2018, winning three consecutive elections with 48% to 52% of the vote. She also voted in favor of impeaching President Trump.
