Concerning posts emerge after LA dad reportedly takes the lives of his two sons

A tragic incident in Los Angeles has left a family heartbroken after a father allegedly killed his two young sons. Adolfo Gramajo, 35, is accused of shooting four-year-old Jimmy and eleven-year-old Osmani in broad daylight in Koreatown before attempting to take his own life. Remarkably, he survived the act and is currently hospitalized.

The boys’ family is struggling to cope with the profound loss, holding memorial services to honor the memories of Jimmy and Osmani. Marilsa Bonilla, the children’s aunt, shared her sorrow over the situation, stating, “This moment she’s going through hurts my soul.” She expressed her desire for it to have been a joyful occasion, such as a birthday celebration filled with gifts and laughter, rather than grieving.

Bonilla highlighted the overwhelming support from the community. “There are so many people that came here today that we don’t know, but that have felt moved by the story of the children,” she shared. She hopes that this tragic event can inspire other parents to cherish and nurture their children.

The motive behind Gramajo’s alleged actions remains unclear. On what should have been a custody visit, he took his sons to a nearby McDonald’s. Gramajo had previously told the boys’ mother that they would be staying at his parents’ home.

On social media, Gramajo displayed concerning behavior and shared photos of his children. His Facebook bio indicated a deep sense of despair, mentioning that he felt he had nothing to live for aside from his family. A post from December 2018 ominously warned, “Don’t judge me cause I am quiet, no one plans a murder out loud.”

The family is now raising funds through a GoFundMe campaign to cover expenses related to the boys’ memorial and support the mother, who is currently unable to work.

Osmani’s school principal recalled him as a bright student who always arrived early and wore a smile. As for Gramajo, he faces charges of murder, specifically with accusations of multiple homicides.
