Eric Burlison Advocates for UAP Transparency at Conference

Recently, Missouri Congressman Eric Burlison participated in a conference that celebrated the 30th anniversary of a notable alleged extraterrestrial event. He called for increased transparency and protection for whistleblowers related to unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), often referred to as UFOs.

The event, organized by investigative filmmaker James Fox, centered around a rumored incident from 1996 in Varginha, Brazil, where some suggest the government captured two non-human beings. During the conference, Burlison introduced two legislative proposals aimed at making the situation more transparent, thereby encouraging more witnesses to share their experiences.

“It’s a more compelling first-person narrative,” Burlison remarked, reflecting on the importance of direct testimonies. He expressed hope for tangible evidence, whether biological or otherwise. “At the end of the day, until we get physical evidence, I’ll remain skeptical. But until then, I plan to conduct some serious research on my own,” he added.

Burlison pushed for the passage of the UAP Disclosure Law, emphasizing that whistleblower protections should be included. “We have clear goals and bills to pass,” he stated. “We’ve gathered testimonies from numerous witnesses. It’s time to act and gather the evidence.” He urged swift legislative action on these fronts.

Fox noted that the conference served as an essential platform for people to connect beyond the narratives and to promote transparency regarding UAP sightings. “I think it’s fair to say there’s enough first-hand eyewitness testimony that feels very convincing. We just want an investigation because something really unusual happened,” he shared, highlighting the difference between watching testimonies in documentaries versus experiencing them in person.

Several alleged witnesses from the 1996 encounter also attended, many of whom had remained silent for years due to concerns over potential repercussions. Among them was Dr. Italo Venturelli, who recounted a striking experience. “On January 20, 1996, I was called to examine a patient. When I arrived, I realized that it was not from this planet,” he recalled. As he described the being, he noted its calm demeanor and unusual features, suggesting a level of intelligence beyond human understanding. “He seemed to grasp the situation and was not afraid despite his vulnerable state. Perhaps he had a purpose for being there.”
