Troconis’ bond was set at $6 million. If she is able to post her bail, she will be placed on electronic monitoring and house arrest while she appeals her sentence, NBC reports.

Jennifer Dulos, 50, went missing on May 24, 2019 and has never been found. Her prosecutors told her jury that her estranged husband, Fotis Dulos, attacked her in her New Canaan home and fled in her car with her body. At the time, the two were fighting for a divorce and custody of their five children, and Troconis was Fotis Dulos’ girlfriend and they lived together in separate homes.

Prosecutors said Troconis knew about the plot in advance, suggesting that Troconis answered Fotis Dulos’ cell phone on the morning of May 24, when he was reportedly in New Canaan, and helped create an alibi. He insisted that it must have been. Prosecutors said the man left his cell phone at his home in Farmington, about 110 miles from the Hartford neighborhood.

Prosecutors argued that the two kept a timeline of their actions in case law enforcement officers wanted to question them.
The NBC report also noted that Fotis Dulos committed suicide in early 2020 after building a luxury home and authorities charging him with Jennifer’s murder.
Troconis now faces up to 50 years in prison in the case.
