Conor McDavid and his wife, Lauren McDavid, share a sweet moment after scoring the game-winning goal in Canada's 3-2 victory against the US in the final final for the 4 Nations I did.
The couple hugged her while celebrating at the TD Garden in Boston, as seen in a snapshot posted on Lauren's Instagram Story.
The Edmonton Oilers captain, who was selected as a player in the game, wore a shirt, hat and gold medal around the neck of the 4 Nations face-off champion.
“I'm so proud of you!!!” interior designer Lauren writes that it includes a clip of McDavid accepting the first 4 Nations Face Off Championship Trophy.
Another video showed the captain of the Edmonton Oilers holding a trophy with his teammate.
Lauren also shared a snapshot with Team Canada's Wags wearing matching red jackets on Gameday.
The couple tied the knot in Ontario last summer.
McDavid broadcasted on Thursday when it was important after a slow start.
He scored 8:18 with a clear shot at the top corner of the goal after getting the puck from Mitchell Marner to secure a Canadian victory.
Team Canada goalkeeper Jordon Binnington made a stellar show in overtime with a total of 31 saves and six stop shots. He made 14 saves in the third season and combined OT.
Things were chippy between the two throughout the tournament.
On Saturday, Canada lost to the US in the round-robin portion of the tournament held at Bell Centre in Montreal.
The Americans have not won the Best On Tournament since 1996.
The US is 1-4 against Canada in their last five latest men's tournament finals.
