The Connor Stallions controversy will be the biggest scandal to shake not just Michigan State football but all of college football in 2023. Despite resigning from the program and facing an NCAA investigation, the Stallions couldn't get far enough away from Michigan, even in the Rose Bowl.
Multiple sources can confirm that Conor Stallions was indeed at the Rose Bowl.
Former University of Michigan LB Chase Winovich also posted on his IG story yesterday: pic.twitter.com/Sx2T7LI3FJ

Former Michigan defensive end Chase Winovich, who played five seasons in the NFL, primarily with the Patriots, posted a photo of the Stallions sitting a few rows behind the Michigan bench. He even tagged Stallion in the photo. Really I know he was there.
There is no love lost between the University of Michigan and the Big Ten over the decision to suspend Jim Harbaugh for three games this season. Still, Stallion's presence at the Rose Bowl is an important statement that everyone around the program should have known.
Let's wait and see if there are any repercussions from the decision to have Stallion attend the Rose Bowl during the investigation. It's a strange decision to welcome such a distraction when the national championship game is right around the corner.
