Jake Paul knocked out Mike Perry in the sixth round of their boxing match on Saturday night.
And many learned that UFC star Conor McGregor is a co-owner of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
McGregor “fired” Perry from his BKFC bouts following his loss to Paul, during which Perry was knocked down three times and completely outplayed by the YouTuber-turned-boxer, who was out of breath by the second round.
“Jake Paul is the worst guy I’ve ever seen” McGregor posted on X“Forty pounds difference, juices coming out of my head, and I’m still there.”
In his next sentence, he took aim at Nakissa Vidarian, co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions and Paul’s business partner.
“We should get him to Las Vegas. Oh yeah, no way. Athletic Commission test, real test, real fighting. Motherfuckers,” exclaimed McGregor, referring to the November bout between Paul and Mike Tyson, which was originally scheduled for July 20 but was postponed due to health issues for the 58-year-old former world heavyweight champion.
“Absolutely not. And you call out 60 year old Mike Tyson who just returned from an in-flight medical emergency? I swear to God you’re a pile of f**king piss. Most worthy motherfucker,” McGregor concluded in his post.
McGregor wrote in another post three minutes later: Perry is “released” from the promotion.
“Mike you’re fired. You can go compete in your stinky filthy boxing championship. Good luck with that smell. You’re fired. @bareknucklefc,” he wrote, tagging the promotion, referring to Perry’s hybrid rules fighting promotion. Dirty Boxing Championship.
Former UFC star Perry had a 5-0 record with three knockouts in BKFC prior to his boxing bout with Paul in Tampa.
Perry, competing in just his second professional boxing bout since suffering a knockout loss in his 2015 debut, said McGregor can’t really dismiss him.
