WWE Star Paul Heyman Talks Conor McGregor
During a segment on “Monday Night Raw,” WWE icon Paul Heyman extended a warm welcome to UFC’s Conor McGregor, who gave a parting shot as he left the locker room. The atmosphere was energizing, with Austin Theory, Maxine Dupri, Bron Breaker, and Logan Paul showcasing their skills before taking their exit. Moments earlier, they had put Otis and Akira Tozawa through quite the embarrassment in the ring. It seemed like Heyman wasn’t exactly on the best of terms with them, yet he still applauded their performance.
Heyman shared some thoughts about their future, notably commending Paul for his swift recovery. “This is what I call a vision for the future,” he remarked. “Happy? Ecstatic! I couldn’t be prouder of you guys, especially tonight. Bron Breaker made it clear that no one should mess with him. Also, Logan Paul is bouncing back quicker than Conor McGregor.” He added, “Theory, you’re with the women and I couldn’t be prouder of you for that. And Maxine, you’re just incredible.”
McGregor, who recently suffered a leg injury at UFC 329 while fighting Max Holloway, described the experience as devastating. It was a tough moment for him, considering it was his first fight in five years. McGregor expressed his feelings on social media, stating, “Head gasket is gone. Destroyed. I didn’t get hurt during the game. All my training went smoothly. This came out of nowhere. It’s beyond dark here. It’s nothing short of hell.”
He continued, reflecting on the match, “I was so sharp and ready for this fight that I can’t believe what happened. Any talk of me being off is nonsense. I was calm, ready, and confident. I’m shocked by this. The devil is literally staring me right in the face. I’m not involved in this. I’ll overcome it. I’ll be back.”
