Conor McGregor had a great night out at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.

With 2.6 seconds left in the period, Mott and Wilson brawled on the ice as players from both clubs headed for a scrum while the referee tried to separate them.
As the brawl erupted, McGregor smiled at Jumbotron.
The Rangers ultimately beat the Capitals, 5-3, in what was the team’s “best game since the trade,” said head coach Gerald Gallant, referring to the Patrick Kane trade.
Kane, who was acquired by the Rangers before the NHL’s trade deadline earlier this month, felt some love from McGregor afterwards as he headed into the locker room to congratulate the team.
“Well done, well done, lads. Great to see it live,” McGregor told Blueshirt. In a video shared on the Rangers Instagram account.
“We almost saw some fights. We didn’t even need to. Congrats guys, it was a great game.”
The Rangers have a long history with Wilson that stretches back to the end of the 2020-21 season.
Wilson hit a prone Pavel Bukhnevich and rag doll Artemi Panarin with a hammer in a match on May 3, 2021.

The Rangers improved to 38-19-10 in Tuesday’s win over the Capitals and remain third in the Metropolitan Division.
They host the Pittsburgh Penguins in a back-to-back contest at the Gardens beginning Thursday, with a second outing on Saturday.
