Construction of Wind Turbines Enrages Virginia Beach Residents

Residents of Virginia Beach, one of the few areas in Virginia choose 2020 President-elect Joe Biden is outraged by the construction of wind turbines.

Complaints range from noise and vibration caused by 24/7 construction projects to the destruction of sea views and possible negative impacts on marine life.

On Wednesday, Virginia Beach residents met In partnership with Dominion Energy, we are installing 178 900-foot-tall wind turbines 25 miles out to sea. Local news station News 3 report Even after the meeting, residents “continue to have concerns about construction noise, environmental damage, and ocean views.”

The content of the complaint is…

  • 24/7 construction noise
  • Some residents say their walls have cracked due to vibrations during construction.
  • Turbines can be seen even 44 miles from the coast
  • killing of wild animals

Dominion promised to “install a quieter reverse alarm on the truck, install acoustic dampening in the area, and also install a second device to monitor sound and vibration.”

Dominion spokesman Jeremy Slayton acknowledged that at certain elevations, the turbines would be “more visible” even if they were far away and painted gray.

Many residents are getting what they voted for, but they are not satisfied…

“In 10 to 15 years, we’re going to turn around and say this was wrong,” said one resident. Said News 3. “Building a 900-foot tower in the middle of the ocean is the wrong place.”

“Nobody came to our front door and said your house is going to be shaking for almost a year. I would have been fine with that,” complained another resident. .

“Why go to the sea? A big reason for me is to see the sea and escape from the concrete jungle.” Said One resident said: “And now we’re staring at another concrete jungle on the ocean. It’s really disgusting.”

“They don’t know if it’s killing whales. I mean, how can they keep going when it might be killing whales?” one local complained.

We don’t know about whales, but we do know that turbines kill a lot of birds.

The idea is that these wind turbines will power 660,000 local homes, but how much will they cost? How long will these turbines run to produce the energy needed to build and install them? And what will be the environmental damage when these turbines reach the end of their lifespan and have to be dumped somewhere?

Do you want to know who relies on the wind and the sun for energy? Barbarians. are we savages? That can’t be true. The 21st century is returning to the medieval era of unreliable wind and solar power. It’s crazy. And for what? Polluting our beautiful oceans and beaches, killing our birds…and what happens to the whales?

The thing is this…

Once wind power becomes reliable and cheap, environmentalists will find a way to argue that it’s bad for Mother Earth. Because their goal is not to protect the environment, but to make the rest of us miserable. Moreover, these liars have 0 wins and 54 losses. Only a fool would believe lie number 55.
