Jake Paul Considering NFL Future After Boxing

It seems Jake Paul is contemplating a new venture in the NFL, looking ahead to life after boxing.

In a recent conversation with Front Office Sports, he expressed his ambition to play football one day and mentioned that he is already in discussions with a few teams.

“I’ve had talks with some teams, and there are coaches interested in adding me to their roster. It’s a no-brainer,” Paul stated.

Growing up playing football, Paul feels confident in his athletic abilities. He believes he possesses qualities that surpass many NFL players, claiming he’s faster, stronger, and more dedicated.

He also mentioned he has superior catching skills compared to many receivers, pointing out the frequency of dropped catches during games.

“Honestly, all you need is some practice running routes, similar to boxing,” he noted.

Paul pointed out that not everyone takes his boxing career seriously, despite his lengthy history of making YouTube content about it. He’s had his share of critics but has managed to prove them wrong in the past.

“It’s amusing to see all the skeptics and doubters yelling at the top of their lungs, just like they did when I started boxing,” Paul added.

He also voiced his opinion on the NFL, saying, “I think there are quite a few mediocre and even some not-so-good players in the league.”

While he refrained from naming specific teams he’s spoken with, Paul did express interest in joining the Cleveland Browns, a team he’s followed for years, suggesting they could use a strong receiver.

The Browns have bolstered their receiving corps this offseason by bringing in notable rookies like KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston.

Interestingly, Paul’s views on the NFL’s accessibility come just months after his brother, Logan, issued a challenge to any NFL player for a boxing match.

Logan, another social media figure, responded to an offhand comment from legendary quarterback Tom Brady by expressing readiness to take on any football player, mentioning names like Myles Garrett and Rob Gronkowski.

“For a million dollars, let’s step into the gym, put on some gloves, and see what happens. I’d be ready,” Logan said.

More recently, Brady and Logan made headlines again after an interaction at Fanatics Fest, where Brady playfully slapped Logan on stage.
