Cooper Flag withdrew Duke's ACC Tournament Opener Georgia Institute of Technology After struggling with an ankle sprain grabbing the rebound in the first half. Flag was seen when I went to the locker room in a wheelchair.but he returned to the floor where he was standing and cheering for his teammates.
Duke followed nine points in the second half of the first half as Flag went down. This is a horrifying injury for the Blue Devils and perhaps their biggest favorite to win the National Championship as they prepare to take part in the 2025 Men's NCAA Tournament. Watch the play where Flag was injured:

Flag was initially in a wheelchair, as the team trainers had considered. He eventually went back to the floor and cheered on his teammates from the bench.
The Flag was not in the walking boots on the bench. This is considered an encouraging sign.
ESPN broadcasts say Cooper Flag is ruled out today, but he's back on the bench, who doesn't have shoes yet and boots. pic.twitter.com/cd5qdix0hi

Ankle injuries are not fun for basketball players. If the flag is controlled as having a grade 1 sprainhe can go out for a week or two. If it's a Grade 2 Sprain, he'll be watching on the shelf for over three weeks.
A flagg is required for NCAA tournaments. We hope that the Blue Devils super freshman and the expected No. 1 NBA draft pick will soon return to the floor.
