Last month, police arrested a woman accused of assaulting a pair of women at a convenience store in Omaha, Nebraska, as a child cried with the attackers and begged them to stop.
Police told Blaze News they arrested Zaria Nichols, 26, on Friday in connection with the Feb. 16 attack that was captured on surveillance video. Nichols is facing criminal charges of two counts of third-degree assault, two counts of criminal mischief and one count of child abuse/neglect, police said, adding that the charges are all misdemeanors.
What is your background?
KETV-TV According to reports, the suspect in the attack entered the Mega Saver at 144 Blonde Street with the girl shortly after 5 p.m. and demanded an “iPhone charger for her car.”

The station said the charger was installed along the wall.
According to KETV, the suspect was there for a while, but then a dispute broke out over the purchase of a charger. “I’ll pay for it, that’s fine, but can I return it if it doesn’t work in my car?” she asked, according to the station.
According to KETV, there was a mix-up and the woman was upset. She said the woman “feels like she’s being discriminated against and is angry because people think she doesn’t know what I’m talking about,” she said in a statement, according to the station.
KETV reported that the suspect began yelling profanities, which upset several customers, and a shouting match ensued, and a girl dressed in pink who was with the suspect began crying.
A short time later, the female suspect physically attacked one of the women, punching her in the face at least three times.

According to police, the suspect yelled abusive language at other customers. The suspect asked loudly, “Do you want to get hit too?”
With that, the suspect slapped the customer from behind on the head as he backed away, pushing him into a display shelf, causing products to fly off the shelf and causing the victim to fall to the floor.

But it wasn’t over yet.
After putting the child in the car, the suspect actually returned to the store and chased the already beaten woman who was on the floor, but the woman screamed, “Oh, here we go again!”
