Corey Lewandowski, who had been in and out of former President Trump’s sphere of influence, will join the Trump campaign ahead of the November election.
A campaign official confirmed to The Hill that Lewandowski advises the campaign on delegates and the convention process. Another source said Lewandowski was “involved with the tournament team.”
The Republican National Convention is scheduled to be held in Milwaukee in mid-July.

Lewandowski served as President Trump’s first campaign chair during the 2016 campaign, but was subsequently ousted and eventually replaced by Kellyanne Conway and campaign chair Paul Manafort.
The Massachusetts native co-authored two books during President Trump’s first term that heaped praise on Trump, defended him from critics, and lambasted the so-called deep state.
