I've seen my career and reputation being destroyed over and over again because of old jokes, immature posts, or completely racist things. All Netflix had to do was audit Gascón's Xweets. All Gascon had to do was audit his Xweets or shut down his accounts completely. How stupid are these people? All of the dreams Gascon had were weeks away from its realization. He was trying to not only win the Oscars, but also make history and see his career soaring into the sun. But the worst part is that we're not supposed to say. That's it. It's bad enough that nominations for the best actress in a rare career production were stolen by a man from a suitable woman. But now, he and Netflix's stupidity have basically disqualified this nomination. Nominations that were able to boost a real woman's career have been in vain as Netflix decided to make the Oscar campaign face mad.
But perhaps this is some form of universe justice. After a decade of nonsense in this non-American day and identity politics, we are seeing this glyft finally crumble into dust.
