Keith Fitz-Gerald, president of the Fitz-Gerald Group, highlighted stocks of Costco, Palantir, and Lockheed Martin ahead of the market open.
Costco revealed in its recent earnings call that it has reduced prices on many popular Kirkland Signature products, which is welcome news for Americans who have been hit by inflation since 2021.
Chief Financial Officer Gary Millerchip said the price of KS Macadamia Nuts will go from $18.99 to $13.99, 3 liters of Spanish Olive Oil will go from $38.99 to $34.99, Standard Foil will go from $31.99 to $29.99, and Laundry Packs will go from $31.99 to $29.99. and Baguette 2-packs fell from $19.99 to $18.99, respectively. $5.99 to $4.99.
Millerchip said the price of Kirkland Signature boneless chicken tenders fell 13%, resulting in a 21% increase in pounds sold.
“Kirkland Signature offers great member value compared to national brands and continues to grow faster than our overall business,” he added.

The discount comes after Costco's plan to raise membership prices for the first time in seven years went into effect in September.

The wholesale club is raising annual membership fees in the U.S. and Canada by $5 and $10, with “Gold Star” and business members increasing from $60 to $65 and executive members increasing from $120 to $130.
Costco is reportedly selling a new precious metal, platinum.

The increased expenses will affect approximately 52 million members, just over half of whom are executive club members.
Costco last raised membership fees in June 2017.
