Country Music Star George Strait Performs ‘Trump Dance’ During Las Vegas Concert

Country music star George Strait performed the “Trump Dance” at a recent concert in Las Vegas. This is the latest example of President-elect Donald Trump's signature campaign boogie being copied by a prominent public figure since his election victory.

George Strait was performing at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Saturday when he blocked Trump's move.

The Trump dance, usually performed at village YMCAs during election rallies, has become all the rage among prominent sports and cultural figures.

Several NFL stars have scored touchdowns in recent weeks, including Nick Bosa of the San Francisco 49ers, Za'Darius Smith of the Detroit Lions, Calvin Ridley of the Tennessee Titans and Brock Bowers of the Las Vegas Raiders. He performs this dance on occasion.

UFC champion Jon Jones danced during a recent fight at Madison Square Garden, which was attended by President Trump.

Argentina's President Javier Millay performed a Trump dance during a recent visit to Mar-a-Lago.

Left-wing media figures, including ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, have repeatedly ridiculed “Trump's frolic.”

But in a sign that their grip on the culture has significantly weakened, Village People lead singer Victor Willis gave President Trump his approval, saying the president-elect “gets an 'A' from me.” said.

In a recent Facebook post, Willis wrote, “I'm glad the president-elect has allowed us to continue using the YMCA, and I'm grateful he chose to use my song.”
