Gavin Adcock Shows Support for Kid Rock’s Alternative Super Bowl Halftime Show

Country singer Gavin Adcock is backing Kid Rock and Turning Point USA, which is organizing its own “alternative” Super Bowl halftime show. This event aims to provide fans with a different entertainment option from the official NFL performance.

In an interview, Adcock expressed his enthusiasm for Turning Point USA’s initiative, which features Kid Rock alongside other country artists. “Yeah, I mean, I’ll support whatever they want to do. I’m definitely going to the game. I’ll catch the official halftime show, but I really enjoy Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, and all those folks. People are going to have a blast wherever they are,” he noted.

Kid Rock Promotes Alternative Show for Patriotic Fans

With some discontent surrounding the NFL’s halftime entertainment, an alternative show is emerging. Bad Bunny, known for his criticisms of former President Donald Trump and ICE, is set to headline the official halftime slot.

Kid Rock has characterized the Turning Point USA event as a gathering for those who “love America, love football, love good music, love Jesus.”

Adcock Reflects on Sports and Music Connection

Adcock, who transitioned into music after a sports career, believes the intersection of sports and entertainment during Super Bowl weekend is fitting. “I find it great. I was an athlete until 2021, and I discovered my passion for music pretty quickly. Many in the music scene share similar athletic backgrounds,” he shared.

Super Bowl Weekend Highlights for Adcock

The country artist started off the Super Bowl celebrations by appearing at the Madden Bowl event at Chase Center in San Francisco. It’s a significant occasion as it is associated with the LX Week Super Bowl.

Adcock is also looking to reach more fans. “I haven’t performed much in California. Just did one tour and got my music to a broader audience who might not have heard it before. Let’s enjoy a drink, have a good time, and watch the Super Bowl,” he said.

Interestingly, this weekend marks a milestone for him—his first Super Bowl attendance. “Well, this is my first time going to the Super Bowl. I’m really fortunate to have a good ticket. I’m hoping for a Seahawks win against the Patriots,” he remarked.
