Couple faces jail time after pleading guilty to having sex with a dog

A woman who admitted to having sex with a dog is sent to prison.

Paige Reaney, 33, admitted to having sex with a pug named Charlie on four separate occasions.

She denied possessing extreme pornographic images of “intercourse with animals or oral sex” during a brief hearing at Sheffield Crown Court on Thursday.

The court said the case lasted from August 2019 to December 2022.

Her partner Graham Marshall, 38, previously admitted helping Reenie have sex with the dog.

A previous hearing heard how he and Reenie “regularly subjected themselves to sexual acts” and caused unnecessary suffering to a mutt dog called Charlie.

And in October, Marshall pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting sexual intercourse with a woman and a dog.

He also pleaded guilty to one count of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, a habitual sexual act involving “inappropriate physical treatment of a dog”.

He also admitted another charge of failing to ensure the welfare of a dog by “failing to protect it from pain and suffering caused by habitual sexual activity”.

Marshall also pleaded guilty to one count of voyeurism and three counts of possessing extreme pornographic images relating to sexual acts involving “dead/live animals.”

He also admitted seven charges of making indecent or pseudo-photographs of children in categories A, B and C.

However, Marshall has pleaded not guilty to one charge of taking indecent photographs of a Category C child. Category A is the most severe.

He is scheduled to return to court on December 12 for further consideration.

Reaney, who lives in Sheffield, could face up to two years in prison for the offence.
