An Irish jury found Conor McGregor liable for the assault in civil court on Friday.
Nikita Nee Ramhain has claimed that UFC superstar and another man, James Lawrence, sexually assaulted her in a hotel, reports reported. TMZ. She claimed McGregor forced her to have sex with him on the bed of his penthouse suite, and later claimed that Lawrence also sexually assaulted her. Mr McGregor claimed their interaction was consensual. The jury ultimately sided with Ny Ramhain and awarded approximately $250,000 in damages. According to TMZ, jurors said in their verdict that they found Lawrence did not assault Ni Ramhain.

McGregor told TMZ that he plans to appeal the court's decision.
“The judge's instructions and the modest award awarded were for assault and no award was made for aggravated or punitive damages. We are disappointed that the jury did not hear all of the evidence that the Democratic Party considered. I think so,” he said.
According to TMZ, McGregor went on to say, “I'm staying with my family and focusing on my future.”

The legal issue unfolded in court over the last month after Nee Ramhain claimed two men forced her to have sex with him after a Christmas party in 2018.
Both McGregor and Lawrence have denied her accusations.

The famous UFC fighter arrived in court with his longtime partner Dee Devlin to show their full support.

Ní Ramhain took a moment outside the courtroom to give an emotional statement thanking her lawyers, judge, jury, witnesses and medical personnel. She also praised her family, friends and supporters. Her hands trembled as she called out to those who had been by her side as the incident unfolded.
