The coveted Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skeens' autographed MLB debut patch card is no longer on the market.
An 11-year-old collector from Southern California decided to pull this card, which was included in the 2024 Topps Chrome Update set.
Skeens' card, the 2024 National League Rookie of the Year, drew a lot of attention when the trading card and collectibles maker unveiled it in November.
As soon as the card became known, the Pirates became vocal about acquiring it.

Skeens autographed cards have some value, but the MLB Debut Patch Edition is highly sought after because it is a one-of-a-kind collectible item.
Pirates offered a ton of perks in exchange for the card. The team provided two premium Pirates season tickets (valid for three years), a meet-and-greet with Skeens, an autographed jersey, and more.
Despite recent developments, Pirates confirmed that the team is still willing to honor the offer.

“Let's up the stakes… whoever finds this card gets to sit with me at the Pirates game in my suite.” Dan wrote in a post on her Instagram Story.
