No one is safe in NFL joint practices.
Tempers erupted during practice on Wednesday when Cowboys defensive tackle Albert Huggins shoved a Rams equipment intern. From Athletic — Falls to the ground after a play.
Huggins broke through the offensive line and shoved an assistant who was supposedly standing as the quarterback for the drill.
Rams players immediately swarmed Huggins and could be heard yelling, “What the hell are you doing?”

Huggins was immediately removed from practice.
Rams coach Sean McVay was furious. According to The Athletic, the assistant coach continued practicing after the brawl and then paused the practice to check on him.
Brawls during practice sessions have been a common sight during this NFL preseason, with the Lions and Giants clashing multiple times and resulting in $200,000 fines for each team.
The fistfight broke out during a joint practice between the Jets and Panthers on Thursday.
But staff rarely engage with the issue.
The Cowboys signed Huggins on August 6.
The 27-year-old former Clemson Tiger is the epitome of a journeyman, having played for four teams over five seasons – the Eagles, Lions, Saints and Falcons.
Huggins has played for the Patriots and Vikings but never with those teams. He has appeared in 27 career games, including 13 with Atlanta last season.
Huggins may be looking for a new team soon.
According to Cowboys Wire, Huggins struggled The team lost 13-12 to the Rams in a preseason game on Sunday.
Dallas then made a trade with the Giants on Wednesday night, acquiring veteran defensive tackle Jordan Phillips (yes, Huggins also plays the same position) in exchange for late draft picks.
The Cowboys continued to bolster their depth on Thursday morning, signing former Jets defensive end Carl Lawson.
It was all part of a headline-filled preseason for the Cowboys.
Star receiver CeeDee Lamb has not committed to staying amid a contract dispute, and quarterback Dak Prescott’s future with the team has been a constant topic of conversation around camp as he enters his walk-on season.
