Cowboys promote Jalen Cropper with CeeDee Lamb unavailable for Week 4

Cowboys Adjust Roster Amid Injury Concerns

This week, the Cowboys faced the realization that Cedee-Dam wouldn’t be available for some time. In response, Dallas has promoted receiver Jalen Cropper from their practice squad to fill the gap left by Ram in the receiving group as they prepare for their matchup against the Packers.

With Lamb’s absence projected to last three to four weeks due to a sprained ligament, he might not contribute in the upcoming games against the Jets and Panthers either. It’s a tough situation for the team, particularly after their recent performance against the Bears.

Cropper, hailing from Fresno State, has minimal NFL experience, having only participated in one game last season where he didn’t manage to secure a catch. So, it will be interesting to see how he fits into the lineup. I mean, given the circumstances, he’ll probably need to step up, right? Tight end Jake Ferguson and receiver George Pickens might also see increased action as they’re currently key targets in the offense.

Dallas has had a rocky start this season, having lost to both the Eagles and Bears, though they did manage to clinch an overtime win against the Giants. It feels like they need to find a rhythm quickly. The next few games could be crucial for them.

There have been ups and downs, and it’s hard to predict how things will unfold. Nonetheless, the Cowboys will have to adapt and make the most of their current roster as they move forward.
