Seth Binzer, the lead singer of the band Crazy Town who rose to fame under the stage name Shifty Shellshock with the song “Butterfly,” died suddenly in June at the age of 49, and the cause of his death has been revealed.
The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office ruled the '90s music legend's death an accident, Metro reported. Report.
They found fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine in his system.
The musician's death was previously confirmed as a drug overdose, and the band's manager, Howie Huberman, revealed that drugs were involved in the bandleader's death.
Crazy Town is best known for their third single, “Butterfly”, which reached number one on the US singles chart and number three on the UK singles chart.
The song also topped the charts in several other countries, including Austria, Denmark and Norway.
The song quickly became the theme song of the 00s, with Sky News broadcasting Notes.
Binzer was open about his struggles with drug addiction throughout his life, Breitbart News reported.
He appeared twice on “Celebrity Rehab” and then twice on its sequel, “Sober House.”

He is survived by three children: Halo, Gage and Phoenix.
