Crews from across South Carolina help battle Carolina Forest-area wildfires

Holly County, South Carolina (wbtw) – South Carolina regional and state fire rescue teams continued to fight wildfires in Carolina's forested areas on Monday, according to Holly County Fire Rescue.

Dozens of people checked into the Red Cross shelter as crew members worked to contain the fire on Sunday. According to the state fire service, in addition to the massive wildfires in Holly County, about 175 small wildfires broke out throughout the state, affecting 4,200 acres of land.
