After Rep. Al Green (D-Texas) was indicted last week from President Trump's Congress speech, Democrats thought singing “We'll overcome” during Green's denunciation vote was a great idea.
Spoiler alert: It wasn't a great idea.
“They didn't seem to know the words,” says Blaze Media DC correspondent Christopher Bedford, Jill Savage on “Blaze News Tonight.” “They're cosplaying. So this isn't a civil rights moment. You're a member of Congress. This is what makes Al Greene so troubled by being the bad guy.”

It wasn't the only Democrat this week's failure after Democrats posted a video to Tiktok with instructions to “choose a fighter.” In this video, several Congresswomen, including Jasmine Crockett and the AOC, bouncing up and down like video game characters waiting to be chosen.
“It's just an interesting look. It's bad manners,” Bedford commented. “It didn't work at the last White House. The last White House basically said their strategy was “I know that grocery bills are rising, but they just put out a super gay ticuk video and don't seem to actually move the vote.”
“When you're the first working class party, I don't think it's struggling with working class voters and connected with normalcy. “They're downgraded to Tiktok.”
