Crockett says Trump 'does not have the ability to tell the truth' on MSNBC

Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D) told viewers on MSNBC on Saturday that former President Trump is “incapable of telling the truth.”

“Even people in need in North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, or other states in Florida are literally hurting themselves because he doesn't have the ability to tell the truth.” “We believe this will help the campaign,” campaign co-chair Harris Walz said on the air.

“At the end of the day, you're not a leader when you're absolutely trying to harm people. That's what he is,” she added.

Throughout the conversation, Crockett accused Trump of spreading misinformation, calling his supporters “stooges” and “white supremacists,” and later warned that Trump would end his political career early. He added that he hopes for

“We have decided to tell as much of the truth as possible to as many people as possible who will listen. The only thing I want for the rest of us is for Donald Trump to leave office.” “Then he loses the last election and his run for president is over,” Crockett raged.

She then addressed what she believed to be the most mobile demographic: young voters.

“I think the young guys are definitely the most mobile of our group. And if you look at the House, we were supposed to do a red wave, but we ended up doing a red dribble. It was mainly because of young people,” Crockett explained.

“I think they're the ones most likely to move because they absolutely want action on climate change. They want to see action around guns in this country. They want to make sure reproductive access is maintained. “I hope that,” she added. “And to be completely honest, this is a group of people who want that relief and are even having conversations about these things as it relates to the educational burden that they currently endure with student loans. There’s only one team.”
