Speculations about New England serial killers have gained significant traction online. It particularly comes from a discussion in a private Facebook group called “New England Serial Killers.”
Members of Facebook groups and social media users on other platforms such as Tiktok and X have pointed to recent discoveries of human bodies in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island between March and April.
Authorities in all three states have identified remaining in New Haven, Groton, Killin and Norwalk, Connecticut, Plymouth, Massachusetts, and Foster, Rhode Island.
Three sets of human remains have been identified. New Haven Police identified him as Dennis Leary, the 59-year-old mother of the two, on March 21. Norwalk police also identified the body of 35-year-old Pagefanon of West Islip, New York on March 6th.

Rhode Island State Police have identified Michele Romano, 56, who has been missing since August 2024, as found in a wooded area in Foster Forest.
Their cause of death had not been announced as of Tuesday.

“At this point, there is no information to suggest a connection to the remaining similar findings. At this time there is no known threat to the public either,” Connecticut State Police said in a statement in Fox News Digital.
The CTSP further told police that he responded to Killer on Woodward Street regarding the discovery of the Troopers’ possible murder on April 9th. Police later confirmed the remains that have not been identified yet, saying there is no known threat to the public.

“This study is in its early stages and remains active and continuous,” the CTSP said.
Police in Groton, Connecticut found what appears to be an adult woman between the ages of 40 and 60, located on March 19th, at the home of a naval submarine base. She may have had Turner syndrome.

“People with Turner syndrome often exhibit physical properties such as short stature, wide chest, short neck and small chin,” Groton police said.
On April 10, Massachusetts firefighters discovered it remained in Framingham, the Massachusetts Turnpike. Fox 25 Boston. Authorities have not yet identified the bodies, but believe they were in the area for several months before they were found.

Jane Boroski, a Connecticut River Valley Killer survivor and host of the podcast “Invisible Tears,” shared concerns and questions about New England serial killers with people on social media. Boroski posted a video on Monday discussing the possibility.
“It’s bothering me, and I’m really a little worried. People are scared.”
They are two towns close to Foster, Rhode Island and Kill Illu, Connecticut.

The serial killer’s speculation appears to stem from a series of discoveries of the human body of a woman over two months. However, just because police found the bodies between March and April doesn’t mean that all the victims died between March and April.

The 57,000-member New England serial killer Facebook group attracted over 10,000 new members over the weekend last week. MassLive.com was first reported.
According to search engine data, Google searched for “New England Serial Killer” around April 7th.
