Cuts to Sanctuary City Federal Funding Coming Soon

President Donald Trump revealed Thursday that he is working on a plan to remove federal funds in the sanctuary city on his true social platform. In an early morning post, the president said, “There are no more sanctuary cities! They protect criminals, not victims.”

Trump criticised sanctuary states and cities, saying, “They are ashamed of our country and are being oc-laughed all over the world. They are working on papers withholding all federal funds in any city or state where these death traps could exist!!!”

Indications that the president is working on paper to withhold all federal funds in a city or state, “allowing these death traps to exist,” could indicate an imminent lawsuit affecting federal funds. Sanctuary states and cities are generally identified as having policies or laws that prevent local and state law enforcement officials from working with federal authorities on issues related to illegal immigration.

As reported by Breitbart Texas in Massachusetts, current law does not allow state law enforcement agencies to detain illegal aliens for federal immigration purposes for longer than necessary for state law enforcement purposes. This means that we cannot respect ice detainees. Additionally, sanctuary policies in several cities across the state have banned local police from working with ice agents to include information sharing.

In Boston, the city council passed an updated version of its 2014 Sanctuary Policy, known as the Trust Act. The law prohibits law enforcement officials from celebrating immigrant detainees submitted by immigrants and customs enforcement agencies, and restricts informal information sharing between local law enforcement officers and ICE agents regarding illegal alien location, detention status, or case information. This policy will help you find and arrest illegal foreigners facing serious criminal charges in the state.

Margining Hearing With several mayors of the sanctuary mayors held by the House Oversight Committee, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu defended the city's stance not to support federal authorities by celebrating ice detainees. In defending Boston's sanctuary policy, in an apparent excavation by President Trump, Wu told the committee:

Other sanctuary mayors who attended and testified before the committee included Democratic mayors of Chicago, Denver and New York City.

The effectiveness of Sanctuary City's policy has been widely criticized by President Trump and border border Tom Homan, who both have negatively affected public safety and have had fatal consequences for American residents.

At a House Oversight Committee hearing in March with the mayor of the Sanctuary, the case of Abraham Garcia, an illegal 23-year-old foreigner and a member of the Venezuelan Tren DeLagua gang, was highlighted in the exchange between Congressman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Democratic Denver Mayor Mike Johnston.

Garcia was released to the Denver Jail parking lot on February 28 after authorities refused to respect ice detainees. safety video Release by the Denver Public Safety Department showed Garcia escape from several ice agents after being released in the facility's parking lot.

According to Ice, Garcia's premature release by local governments to the streets of Denver may have led to his escape. Despite being released early, ICE agents managed to capture Garcia after foot pursuits and physical struggles. Garcia is currently under ice custody awaiting deportation.

Jordan warned Johnston, saying, “You were in custody for 345 days. And Ice said, hey, you can't lift us up your head for 48 hours? Will you give them an hour's notice?
