CeeDee Lamb Expected to Shine on Thanksgiving
Dak Prescott is forecasting a “huge game” for CeeDee Lamb during Thanksgiving, especially after the wide receiver faced some challenges in the recent match against the Philadelphia Eagles. Lamb, who dropped three significant passes, including what could have been a touchdown, is just 29 yards shy of becoming the first Dallas receiver to hit 7,000 yards in his first six seasons.
In a pre-game chat with reporters, Prescott seemed unbothered by Lamb’s recent performance. “It’s a great game,” he remarked, indicating that despite Lamb’s struggles, he’s confident in his ability to bounce back. He pointed out that throughout his career, Lamb has shown remarkable resilience, often responding positively after less-than-stellar outings.
Lamb had a shaky start in the season opener against Philadelphia with three drops but rebounded impressively the following week against the New York Giants, registering nine catches for 112 yards. He also missed a game due to an ankle sprain but returned strongly with 110 yards against the Washington Commanders.
Coach Brian Schottenheimer echoed Prescott’s faith in Lamb, despite the fact that he has missed a career-high eight passes this season. “He loves bright lights,” Schottenheimer noted, adding that Lamb has a determined look—a sign that he is ready for Thursday’s game.
As the Cowboys gear up for their matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, Lamb is set to enter the game with 44 receptions, totaling 632 yards and two touchdowns. The kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 PM ET on CBS.
