The younger brother of Dallas Cowboys star Dak Prescott made some interesting remarks about the quarterback's future with the team following their early exit from the playoffs.
Tad Prescott wrote in X that the problem for him and the quarterback is the fan base, with too much critical reaction to Cowboys games.

“Cowboy fans, why do you keep trusting me and DMing me? If I could get @dak to leave Dallas, I would. I want him to leave Dallas too.” Tad Prescott wrote. “The city and the organization have been great to him and our family, but despite the drama and the so-called fans, he loves this team and wants to promote this team.
“Anyone who really follows me or knows me knows that I've never said a bad thing about the Dallas Cowboys as an organization or a team, and I've never said a bad thing about the players on the team or the city of Dallas. I've never had one. It's about what I call my fans.”

The Cowboys quarterback had an MVP-caliber season. He led the NFL in touchdown passes (36) and pass completions (410) and helped Dallas win his NFC East title.
Dallas finished 12-5, winning eight of their last 11 games after the bye week. However, the team fell far short in last week's playoff game against the Green Bay Packers. Prescott's two interceptions and poor defense had fans demanding the job for him and Mike McCarthy.
Neither is likely to happen for the time being. Dallas has won 12 games in each of the past three seasons.

Since taking over as starting QB in 2016, Prescott has started 114 games and is 73-41 with 29,459 passing yards and 202 passing touchdowns.
