Clarkson appeared to be coming to the breakpoint during an interview about Kylie Kells' podcast “I'm not going to lie.”
“I just read something with my sister and I think Jerry Jones said, 'Well, it's time,'” she told the wife of Philadelphia Eagles great Jason Kels. “And I was like, “Oh, OK. That was different from the last 'now time.' It was very different from last year's era, but this was also a time. ”
Clarkson expressed hope for the team, using the wild success of the franchise in the 1990s as a reason.
“Our team is probably one of my favourite teams,” she said. “I think I do too, so we're always very hopeful. I don't think there's more dreamers since the '90s. Every year is our year.”

Clarkson said in Texas there's really no choice but to become a Cowboys fan. But when she started playing fantasy football, she really got into the game.
Dallas made some changes in the offseason. Most notably, he brought in Brian Schottenheimer as the new head coach, especially to replace Mike McCarthy. The team and McCarthy left separate ways to start the offseason as both parties failed to agree to the terms of the New Deal.
The Cowboys signed linebacker Kenneth Murray, cornerback Kyle Ellam and defensive lineman Solomon Thomas to bolster their defense, but lost cornerbacks Jordan Lewis and edge rushers DeMarcus Lawrence and Chauncy Golston.
Dak Prescott is set to return for the 2025 season. His season-ending injury helped the Cowboys fall in 2024. The team was 7-10.
