Dan Orlovsky gives “Mad Dog” Christopher Russo a new nickname: “Classless.”
ESPN analyst Orlovsky said: torn russo after the famous radio/TV personality described him as a former NFL “scrub” on ESPN’s “First Take” on Monday.
“I may be a HOFer, but this is classless,” Orlovsky tweeted in response to a clip of Russo’s dig.
Russo fired his shot at Orlovsky after he and co-host Stephen A. Smith watched a video of Orlovsky, wearing work clothes and a tie, performing during last weekend’s Pro Bowl Precision Pass Challenge. It was at the time.
Despite retiring in 2015, Orlovsky still scored better than any active quarterback, including Jalen Hurts, Tua Tagovailoa, CJ Stroud and Baker Mayfield.
“By the way, as a member of the Detroit Lions when they didn’t win, we now have this footage so we can rely on this to help our son Orlovsky grow,” Smith said.
“I have to say, who cares if you cry loudly indoors, in your pants, throwing a soccer ball? Nobody cares if you run out of the end zone,” Russo said. Ta. “It’s like Steve making 15 free throws in an empty gym and then going into a ball game and making 4 of 10 with the game on the line. Hey, three of them going over there. Because I bumped into someone…”
Host Molly Kerim tried to praise Orlovsky, but Russo wasn’t having it.
“You can do this. This is not that hard. You can do this… it’s crazy. He was an NFL scrub player. This doesn’t make up for it,” Russo said. .

This ESPN vs. ESPN crime won’t cause as much of a fuss as Aaron Rodgers vs. Jimmy Kimmel, but it’s unusual for one host to call another “scrubs.”
Orlovsky may be best remembered for running out of the end zone for a safety during his seven-season career, but he has since transitioned into one of the NFL’s top analysts.
He spent his career with the Lions, Texans, Colts, Buccaneers and Lions.
