Dana White wants ‘nothing to do with politics’ after helping Trump win

Dana White has vowed to stay out of politics.

The UFC CEO says he will never work on a campaign again after falling for his longtime friend Donald Trump and helping Republicans win the November election. .

White, 55, had a few words on the subject when asked by The New Yorker at Saturday's UFC 309 bout at Madison Square Garden, where the president-elect and his top supporters gathered. I chose the words.

“I'll never do this again,” he said. told the magazine. “I don't want anything to do with this. It's terrible. It's disgusting. I don't want anything to do with politics.”

White appeared at the Republican National Convention in July, speaking on Trump's behalf and giving his enthusiastic support from the stage. He also helped Republican candidates reach young male voters who watch the UFC with male podcasters.

But his stumble was to his friend of 25 years, as the UFC president vowed not to play politics during a bout at the famous Big Apple venue, where the future president gathered cabinet nominees and other polls. It seems that it was out of loyalty.

“Donald Trump is as tough and badass as anyone,” White declared.

“You just have to hope you're a quarter of what Donald Trump was when a guy tried to shoot him seven times in the head with a high-powered rifle with an AF-KING scope,” he added. The first assassination attempt on President Trump's life occurred during a rally in Pennsylvania on July 13th.
