More details about Hayden Hopkins’ pregnancy have been revealed.
And while his father is also in the sports world, he’s not the Raiders’ owner, Mark Davis.
After Hopkins denied rumors and false reports that he had children with Davis, TMZ reported: On Tuesday, the dancer and choreographer announced that she is, in fact, expecting a child with Nationals slugger Joey Gallo.
According to the outlet, Hopkins and former Yankee Gallo were planning to have a child together.
The revelation comes after an eventful Monday when rumors circulated on social media, shared by NFL aggregator Dov Kleinman, that Hopkins, 26, was fathering a child with Davis, 69.
Hopkins announced the pregnancy on Instagram on April 25.
“Congratulations to Raiders owner Mark Davis (70) and his girlfriend Hayden Hopkins (26) who is pregnant,” he wrote in a now-deleted post on Monday to X, incorrectly giving Davis’ age. “All the best to the power couple.”
On Monday’s episode of WWE’s “Raw,” commentator Pat McAfee addressed the rumors while discussing the match between J.D. McDonough and Braun Strowman.
“A lot of people look at the size difference and think JD doesn’t have a chance. Mark Davis is 70 years old and expecting a child with a 26 year old woman. Anything is possible in today’s world!” McAfee said.
Hopkins, who sat next to Davis at a Raiders game in December 2022 and denied theories at the time that the two were romantically involved, posted on social media after the latest rumors about Davis circulated.
“The reports that Mark Davis is the father of my child are completely unfounded,” Hopkins wrote to X. “I was photographed sitting next to him at a 2022 game and have endured false rumors of a romantic relationship ever since. I was simply a guest sitting in the owner’s box with other friends.”
“These ongoing media reports have had a negative impact on what should be one of our happiest days. Joey and I look forward to welcoming our baby in the fall.”
Meanwhile, McAfee apologized on his show on Tuesday after Hopkins denied the rumors.
“I apologize for lying,” McAfee said on his eponymous show on ESPN.
“I understand how happy y’all should be in this moment, and having a 70-year-old billionaire looming over you sucks. So I want to apologize to Hayden and let the world know: Hey, we’ve got to get these things right. I spread a lie during last night’s Braun Strowman vs. J.D. McDonough match. Mark Davis is not the father.”
It’s unclear how long Hopkins and Gallo, an MLB slugger with 202 career home runs, spent together.
