The premise of the show is clear: Make the roster, stay on the roster. Sign a contract, perform well enough to earn a second contract. Be a Giants player long enough to put down roots and for fans to recognize that player as a real New York Giant, not just a player who leaves without making enough of an impact to stick around for the long term.
To stay on the program, players must avoid injuries, maintain their on-field performance, and manage their off-field behavior. They must also avoid controversy with their words and social media posts. When possible, they must qualify to stay on the program by winning games and having a successful season. These two elements are proven reinforcers for long-term success with the same franchise.
