I am so sorry to have this on your screens and for you to know it exists, I feel so legitimately guilty writing this knowing that you are trying to deepen your knowledge of Darren Waller songs, and yet here we are.
On Thursday, it was revealed that Waller has released a song about his 13-month marriage to Las Vegas Aces’ Kelsey Plum, and we can safely say you’re not ready for this one.
Giants’ Darren Waller released a music video about divorce featuring a fake Kelsey Plum.
That’s, hmm… interesting.

Apparently there’s no Autotune on earth good enough to fix Waller’s voice, but I’d be damned if they didn’t try. This isn’t a stylistic choice, it’s like Rebecca Black’s “Friday” on steroids.
I don’t blame Waller for being so strict with her emotions and wanting to talk about them; that’s actually healthy. do not have It’s not healthy to hire a fake Kelsey Plum for your music videos, especially someone who doesn’t look anything like Kelsey Plum.
Some people say this sounds like Post Malone, but no, absolutely not, unless you mean Post Malone, in which case it’s post-Malone.
Darren Waller’s singing is a mix of Karl Malone and Michael Malone, filtered through Bugsy Malone, and then we fed that into a computer and told it to sing like Post Malone.
It’s a shame about the divorce. Congratulations on the song…I guess.
