Dashcam video captures a runaway dump truck crashing into a house

Dashcam footage has emerged capturing a frightening incident in New Jersey where a truck crashed into a home after the driver suffered a medical emergency.

This dramatic event unfolded Tuesday afternoon. A heavy-duty truck veered off the road, hitting utility poles and rolling over several front lawns before crashing into a two-story house, where the homeowner was present. The footage, taken from the truck’s dashcam, shows moments before the crash, highlighting the driver experiencing what appeared to be a seizure.

The truck, loaded with construction sand, ended up nearly fully submerged in the house, with a significant portion found in the basement. The damage was so severe that the home was subsequently demolished. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.

Rescue crews worked for about two hours to free the driver, who was then transported to a nearby hospital. A neighbor, identified as Derek Keating, rushed in to assist, trying to help the trapped driver while gas leaked from the truck.

Keating recounted hearing the driver scream for help, noting that he was unaware of the extent of the driver’s injuries until he learned he was bleeding and had underlying medical issues.

Charles Zeisloft, the owner of the trucking company, explained that the driver, known as “Timmie,” suffered a significant seizure affecting his entire brain, leading to stiffness and convulsions. He expressed relief, calling it miraculous that they survived such a harrowing event.

Interestingly, the crash occurred just as Zeisloft was meeting with an insurance representative to discuss liability coverage, and he happened to know the homeowner involved. This unsettling incident took place on Stratford Avenue in Woodbury Heights, located in southwestern New Jersey.
