Daughter of serial killer Rex Heuermann weeps in court alongside her mother during guilty pleas.

In a Long Island courtroom, Victoria Heuerman, the daughter of confessed serial killer Rex Heuerman, was visibly emotional as her father admitted to murdering eight women and leaving their bodies behind.

At 29, Victoria shed tears as she sat beside her mother, Asa Ellerup, 62, who has been linked to the eight murders that occurred over three decades.

Victoria walked into the courtroom amid cameras and reporters, dressed in a sweater, a fluffy scarf, and layered necklaces. She was accompanied by her mother, a family lawyer, and a documentary crew.

Initially composed, Victoria addressed the judge and stated that her father was responsible for the killings of several women, including Amber Lynn Costello and Megan Waterman.

Heuerman’s wife, Ella Rup, who finalized their divorce last year, seemed particularly attentive during his emotional confession.

The couple also has an adult son named Christopher Sheridan.

Previously, Victoria expressed uncertainty about her father’s guilt. “I’m kind of on the fence,” she remarked in a past documentary, contemplating the possibility of him living a double life.

Asa, too, has expressed doubts about her husband’s involvement in the crimes.

Heuerman’s relatives have consistently denied any knowledge of his actions and have never been accused of wrongdoing by the authorities.

Following the hearing, family attorney Bob Macedonio emphasized that only Rex Heuerman should be held accountable for the crimes and dismissed any implication that Asa or Victoria were involved.

Macedonio described the situation as “very personal and very painful,” especially for Ellerup and her family.

Asa struggled to accept that her husband, whom she was married to for 27 years, could commit such horrific acts. She shared condolences for the victims and their families, asking for privacy during this time.

“Their loss is immeasurable. The focus should be on them right now,” she stated.

When asked if she now regards her ex-husband as a serial killer, her frustration was evident, leading to a sudden departure as her lawyer defended her from questioning by the media.
