Dave Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum, made a joint appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards 2026 on Sunday, marking a notable moment two years after a significant cheating scandal involving the musician.
The couple chose a coordinated look in all black for their outing at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Grohl, the former Nirvana drummer, sported a leather jacket over a turtleneck and paired it with matching pants.
Blum complemented him in a stylish spaghetti-strap gown featuring a bubble skirt, dressed up with pointed-toe heels.
They posed together on the red carpet, showcasing a united front, especially as they share three daughters: Violet Maye, 20, Harper Willow, 17, and Ophelia Saint, 12.
During the ceremony, Grohl, aged 57, alongside his Nirvana bandmates Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear, accepted the prestigious Video Vanguard Award, which is considered the highlight of the night.
In their acceptance speech, they remembered their late bandmate Kurt Cobain, who tragically passed away in April 1994 at just 27 years old.
The couple’s marriage came under public scrutiny in September 2024 when Grohl revealed he had fathered a child with another woman. In an Instagram post, he expressed his commitment to being a supportive parent while reaffirming his love for his wife and children, stating he was working hard to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.
In early 2025, reports confirmed that the mother of Grohl’s child was Jennifer Young, who chose not to reveal the baby’s name due to backlash from fans.
