Dave McCormick Smashes Sen. Bob Casey with Vicious Kamala Harris Ad

Republican Pennsylvania Senate candidate Dave McCormick defeated his Democratic opponent, Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA), with a nasty ad about Vice President Kamala Harris.

The ad features various images of Harris, including one that lists her as the most liberal senator and one that shows her saying she will “eliminate the filibuster to pass the Green New Deal.”

“With women’s rights, workers’ rights and voting rights at stake, this election couldn’t be more important for Pennsylvania and the nation,” Casey said in his endorsement. “Vice President Harris has led these fights, and as a former prosecutor, she will draw a sharp contrast to former President Trump. She is prepared to be commander in chief and is the perfect person to meet this moment. I am proud to endorse her candidacy for president.”

McCormick’s ad noted that Harris was rated the most liberal senator in 2019 on the GovTrack scorecard.

Another clip shows Harris saying at a CNN climate town hall in September 2019 that she was “willing to eliminate the filibuster to pass the Green New Deal.”

Speaking at CNN’s climate town hall, Harris also said she was “in favor of banning fracking.”

The ad then cuts to Harris saying, “I’m not going to criminalize people who cross the border illegally. That’s for sure.”

In another clip from the ad, a masked Harris says it’s a “wrong mindset” to think the only way to keep communities safe is to have more police on the streets.

In another video, Harris said the conversation needed to be about convicted and incarcerated people, like Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, and people “convicted of sexual assault,” being able to vote.

“We need to have a share repurchase program. I support a mandatory share repurchase program,” Harris said in another video.

Both Harris and Biden have previously called for a mandatory government buyback of AR-15s.

The ad comes as Harris has garnered endorsements from a number of Democrats, including former President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Maryland Governor Wes Moore (D-Maryland).

Within 24 hours, the Harris campaign had received $81 million in contributions from more than 888,000 grassroots donors.

Harris also reportedly won enough delegates to become the party’s presidential nominee.
